Heating and cooling services in Herriman
Salt Lake County climate and water
The Salt Lake Valley floor sits around 4,300 feet, with bench neighborhoods higher. Summers are hot and dry, winters are cold, and winter inversions trap fine particulate pollution in the valley for days at a time. Summer brings ozone and wildfire smoke. Good filtration matters here in both seasons.
Salt Lake County water is generally hard to very hard, and it varies by provider and by season depending on whether your water comes from mountain streams or wells. Your provider’s annual water quality report lists the hardness for your system. More in our guide: how hard is Utah water.
Permits in Herriman
Water heater, furnace, air conditioner, gas line and sewer work in Herriman generally requires a permit from the Herriman building department. We pull the permit and schedule the inspection as part of the job.
