Signs you need it
- Your furnace is 15 to 20 years old or older
- A cracked heat exchanger
- Rising gas bills and uneven heat
- Repairs that cost a large share of a new furnace
What we do
- Run a load calculation so the furnace is not oversized
- Compare 80% and 95%-plus efficiency options with real numbers
- Adjust the furnace for altitude and verify combustion
- Update venting, gas line and filter cabinet as needed
What is different in Utah
Gas furnaces produce less heat at Utah elevations and must be adjusted for altitude. High-efficiency furnaces vent through plastic pipe out a side wall, so an upgrade from an older furnace usually means new venting and a condensate drain.

Frequently asked questions
Is a 95% furnace worth it in Utah?
Often, yes. Winters are long enough that the gas savings add up, and utility rebates sometimes apply. The exception is when new venting is unusually difficult. We price both so you can compare.
How long does a furnace last?
Typically 15 to 20 years with maintenance.
How long does installation take?
Most furnace replacements take one day.
